Course Instructors:

Bruce Champagne

As a law enforcement officer, Bruce Champagne has completed assignments as a gang investigator, police diver, major crimes detective, SWAT team leader and member, and defensive tactics instructor, and is a previous president of the Utah Tactical Officers Association. Champagne is a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA), a certified instructor in firearms, batons, aerosols, arrest control, various defensive tactics systems, and a Krav Maga and Krav Maga FORCE instructor under Joseph Gleed of Unified Krav Maga.

Champagne investigates, and provides training in, law enforcement uses-of-force as a certified Force Science Analyst and consultation in civilian uses-of-force, and is currently researching defensive tactics training methodologies and integration in the field of law enforcement.
