Join Unified Krav Maga all summer long for our Summer Self-Defense Mini-Seminars! Held every Wednesday at 7:30 PM June 23-July 28. Come to just one or save when you register for the whole 6-Seminar pack. Individual seminars are $20 or $89

for the whole series. Members, contact us about special member pricing.

Our Summer Self-Defense Series is open to the general public and is designed for individuals age 13+. All skill and ability levels are encouraged to attend. We are an ego-free and fun training environment so please check all egos at the door.

Rage Attacks

This week we are focusing on Rage Attacks which includes choke defenses from any angle/position. Strangulation is a common rage attack and in understanding real-world violence, we must understand that those who strangle/choke are willing to go all the way. Learning to defend a choke is easier than you may think though, so forget what you see in the movies! During this mini-seminar we will be learning to defend chokes from all angles including from the front, behind, on the ground and being pushed or pulled.

What to Bring

Please note our COVID-19 Safety in Training guidelines here. For each seminar, please bring the following:

  • Water Bottle
  • Comfortable, active clothing
  • Indoor shoes or bare feet only on the training mats

*Unified Krav Maga operates as a trauma-informed gym. Having worked with victims and survivors of violent trauma for nearly 20 years, we understand the impact it can have on members in our community. We also know that walking through our doors to learn self-defense can feel overwhelming and we acknowledge the bravery of those who do. All UKM instructors are trained in trauma-informed instruction and we know that learning self-defense may evoke a strong emotional and physiological response, in particular, for those who have experienced violence. Please let your instructors know if you are in need of support or an adjustment to any technique, partner, or training strategy to help you feel more comfortable training in our facility.
