This trauma-informed workshop will cover material specific to women who have experienced violent trauma. Led by Joseph Gleed, chief instructor for UKM and a graduate student in the MSW clinical mental health program at the University of Utah. Held in conjunction with Mountain View Family Therapy.

About the event
Presented by Unified Krav Maga and Mountain View Family Therapy for women who have experienced trauma through sexual assault, domestic or interpersonal violence, assault, stalking, and other forms of violence against women. Â This class is meant to help you restore your sense of strength and control and find the peace needed to go from victim to victor while learning real-world self-defense at the same time! Class includes a brief overview of self-defense and its use in recovery for those who have experienced violence, physical training with trauma-informed instructors, and a short group debrief session to process what was learned as a group. Â Mental health clinicians will be on-site during the training for support.
This class is one of a kind workshop with limited space available so please register early!
Due to the sensitive nature of this workshop, this will be a closed and private event for registered attendees, UKM instructors, and Mountain View Family Therapy counselors only. Â No observers or cameras allowed during this event. Â
