Hello UKM members - most of you have probably heard that effective 1/8/22, Salt Lake County has issued a public health order which includes a 30 day mask mandate. Unified Krav Maga will be doing our part to keep our members and larger community safe and to allow us to continue having open doors to offer our services at full capacity. You can visit www.unifiedkravmaga.com/covid19 or read our full statement here:
We appreciate everyone's patience, flexibility, and understanding as we continue to do our best to adhere to best practices and prioritize the safety and well-being of our members, instructors, and guests. Effective immediately, masks or appropriate face coverings (covers both nose and mouth) will be required for all members and visitors while in the facility excluding exempt individuals as stated by this public health order. Masks must be brought to EVERY CLASS and individuals who do not have one and do not qualify as an exempt individual, will be asked to leave. Please note the following details. FOR MEMBERS Face coverings are required at all times when not actively training (when breathing may be obstructed due to the intensity and pace). This includes: When entering and exiting the facility When observing educational instruction When not training at a speed/pace where a face mask would make it difficult to breathe Face masks may be removed when the intensity of training makes it difficult to breathe (active drills, sparring, etc). FOR GUESTS Face coverings are required the entire time you are in our facility. Our other COVID-19 safety in training guidelines are still in effect and we encourage our members to continue adhering to public health guidance including vaccination and regular testing to keep our community safe and to allow us to continue operating at full capacity. We will not tolerate any disrespect towards other members, instructors, patrons, or guests regarding this public health order while in our facility. All questions can be directed to info@kravutah.com. Thank you! Unified Krav Maga
